AK Rapid Transportation LLC is a for-hire motor carrier of property operating under U.S. DOT No. 4530787 and MC-1803301. We transport freight on a flatbed gooseneck trailer, including recreational vehicles and travel trailers, construction and compact equipment, machinery, industrial and plant freight, building materials, palletized goods, boats and powersports vehicles.
We are not authorized to transport household goods. Our operating authority is issued for property except household goods. We do not perform residential or office moves, and we do not transport the personal effects or furnishings of a dwelling.
If you need a household move, hire a carrier holding household goods authority. The FMCSA maintains guidance and a carrier lookup at fmcsa.dot.gov/protect-your-move.
We reserve the right to decline any load, including on inspection at the pickup location, if it is unsafe, misrepresented, over our rated capacity, or outside our operating authority.
All quotes are estimates, not binding contracts. Quotes are based entirely on the information you provide — item description, weight, dimensions, pickup and delivery locations, access conditions and timing.
A quote becomes an agreement only when we confirm it in writing and the load is booked. Pricing may change if actual weight or dimensions differ from what was described, if access requires additional equipment or time, if wait time is incurred, or if the route, dates or scope change after booking.
Rates quoted through the website form, by phone, by text or by social media message are preliminary until confirmed. Fuel prices, tolls, permitting and market conditions may affect pricing on quotes older than seven days.
Delivery dates and transit times are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. We are a single-truck operation and schedules can be affected by weather, traffic, mechanical issues, road closures, plant or facility access hours, and events outside our control. Same-day and next-day service is subject to availability. We do not accept liability for consequential losses arising from delay — see Section 05.
By booking a load with us, you agree that:
Items left inside a vehicle, RV or piece of equipment are transported at your sole risk and are not covered by our cargo coverage.
We maintain active liability and cargo insurance. A certificate of insurance naming your company is available on request before booking — just ask.
Cargo liability is governed by the bill of lading, our carrier tariff, the terms of our cargo policy and applicable law, including the Carmack Amendment (49 U.S.C. § 14706) where it applies. Coverage is limited to the stated policy limits and does not cover every category of loss.
Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt or bill of lading at the time of delivery and photograph it before the equipment leaves. Written notice of a claim should be submitted to contact@akhotshots.net as promptly as possible and in no event later than the period allowed under the bill of lading and applicable law. Claims must include the bill of lading, photographs and documentation of the loss.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AK Rapid Transportation LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages of any kind, including lost profits, lost revenue, project delay costs, equipment rental costs, or loss of business opportunity, arising from or relating to our services — whether the claim is based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, and even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Except where a higher amount is required by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of any single shipment is limited to the lesser of the actual documented loss or the applicable cargo policy limit.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or waives any right you have under federal transportation law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, except where federal transportation law controls. Venue for any dispute lies in Jefferson County, Texas.
This website is provided for general information. Equipment specifications, capacity figures, service areas and response times described here are typical and are not guarantees or offers of contract. Capacity varies with load dimensions, weight distribution and legal axle limits, and is confirmed per load.
We work to keep information current but make no warranty that it is complete, accurate or up to date, and we may change it at any time without notice. All content, design and markings on this site are the property of AK Rapid Transportation LLC.
Submitting the quote form does not create a contract, reserve capacity, or obligate us to accept a load.
When you use the quote form, the information you type — your name, phone number, email address and details about the load — is assembled in your own browser. This website does not run analytics, advertising trackers or cookies, and does not transmit your form entries to any server on its own.
When you press "Send Request," the details are handed to your own email application for you to send. When you press "Copy Details," they are copied to your clipboard. Either way, you control what is sent and when.
This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers and Google may log your IP address as part of serving those files. No other third-party service is embedded.
Information you send us is used to prepare a quote, arrange and perform transport, invoice you, and keep records required for our business and regulatory obligations. We may contact you by phone, text or email about your request. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not send marketing messages to people who have not asked for them.
Load and customer records are kept as long as needed for business, tax, insurance and regulatory purposes. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email contact@akhotshots.net and we will respond within a reasonable period.
This site is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
We want this site usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation or magnification. We have aimed for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our standard, including readable color contrast, labeled form fields, visible keyboard focus, a skip-to-content link, meaningful heading structure and text alternatives for non-text content.
